Young’s Birthday Party Packages 2008

All parties require a minimum of 10 participants (participant is any paid party guest) and 1 adult for every 5 children.  Each party package receives one adult free for every 5 participants.  Parties will be held in the Dairy Store unless otherwise requested.

Each birthday party will include party decorations, table service, drinks, your choice of cup cakes and vanilla ice cream (unless otherwise stated), goat food for all the guests and a special Birthday t-shirt for the guest of honor. (Halloween party includes separate offerings from those listed above, for details refer below.)

Year Round Packages

A.  Udders & Putters Party
Price - $12.00 per child
Ages – recommended 5 and over
Available – year round weather permitting

Gather your favorite friends and enjoy a friendly competition on one of our 18 hole miniature golf courses.  Feed our hungry goats and play on our tractors.

B.  Treasure Island Adventure
Price - $12.00 per child
Ages – recommended 5 and over

Dress like a pirate with eye patches for everyone and a pirate hat for the birthday child.  Pretend you’re a pirate and go on a hunt for buried treasure and whatever you find you get to take home.  Feed our hungry goats and play on our tractors.

C.  Tea Party
Price – $11.75 per child          
Ages – recommended 3 and over

Enjoy an afternoon of tea with your very own tea party.  Party includes: PBJ sandwiches, hot tea, tea pot shaped cup cakes, face painting and the story Miss Spider’s Tea Party.  For even more fun have guests come dressed for a tea party with big hats and pearls.   

D.  Buckeye Bash
Price - $13.25 per child
Ages – recommended 5 and over

All future Buckeyes will enjoy making their own OSU pennant, face painting and Buckeye ice cream cake featuring Peanut butter cup and chocolate ice cream.   Enjoy feeding the goats and playing on the tractors before you go home.

E.  Webkinz® Wheel of Wow
Price - $12.00 per child
Ages – recommended 4 and over

The Wheel of Wow will display Birthday Party activities like opening presents, eating cupcakes and playing a game.  You spin the wheel to determine the order in which we do them.  Maybe your party will start with opening presents and end with eating ice cream – who knows – spin the wheel to find out.  All parties include an age appropriate Webkinz® game and making party hats for their Webkinz® Pet.  All guests should bring a Webkinz Pet if possible.

Seasonal Parties

A.  Cookie Decorating Party
Price - $10.50 per child
Ages – recommended 4 and over
Available – November – March

Go to the bakery and decorate your very own cow cookie.  Play a game of pin the tail on the cow and be sure to spend time in the barn feeding the goats before you go home.  This party comes with an ice cream cake, with your choice of 2 flavors, instead of cup cakes.  

B.  Sports Party
Price – $14.50 per child
Ages – recommended 6 and over
Available – April – October

Great for any sports enthusiast.  This party includes batting cages, miniature golf and a football toss.  Also enjoy feeding the goats and playing on the tractors.

C.  Country Hoe Down
Price - $13.25 per child
Ages – recommended 3 and over
Available – April – October

Have a hoe down on the farm for your birthday.  The birthday child gets their own cowboy hat and everyone gets to make their very own stick horse and name it.  Before the party is over enjoy a ride on moovers and shaker, feed the goats and play on the tractors.

D.  Tropical Princess Party
Price - $13.00 per child
Ages – recommended 4 and over
Available – April - October

Each guest will receive fancy straws for their drinks, Hawaiian lei and enjoy hair and face painting.   We will make tropical tissue paper flowers.  Before you head home feed the goats and play on our tractor playground.  For additional fun, come dressed in your favorite Hawaiian shirt.

 

E. Halloween Party
Price – $14.50 per person
Ages – recommended 5 and over
Available – October (Limited dates, call for availability)

Celebrate this spooky time of year with a traditional Halloween party.  Sit around a campfire and roast hot dogs and marshmallows while telling ghost stories and sipping on hot cider. Decorate a mini pumpkin to take home.  For additional fun come dressed in your favorite costume (optional).
(Reminder: Halloween Party does not include traditional birthday party offerings.)

Policies and Guidelines 2008

Registration, Payment, and Cancellations

• Parties should be scheduled at least 2 weeks in advance!
• Payment is due in full upon registration.  Party is NOT confirmed and booked until payment is received in full.
• All additional activities must be added at least 2 days prior to the party.
• Major credit cards, checks and cash accepted.  Please pay at the Dairy Store Gift Shop.
• Cancellations 2 weeks prior to scheduled party date will receive 100% refund.  Cancellation 1 week prior to scheduled party date will receive a 50% refund.  Cancellations within 6 days will receive no refund.

Arrival of Guest

• All guests should arrive promptly at the party’s scheduled time.  Parties are scheduled every 2 hours so it is important that parties start promptly.
• Guests arriving early by 15 minutes or more can freely walk around the farm until their scheduled party time.
• Late guest may miss certain party activities provided by the birthday coordinator.  

Miscellaneous

• Minimum group size 10 participants (participant is any paid guest).  Maximum group size is 20 participants.  (larger group sizes must be approved by management)
• Require 1 adult (free) for every 5 children. (for basic party does not include additional activities)

• All party participants are the responsibility of the adult patron
• Please be advised that certain dates are not available due to Young’s special events.
• It is the responsibility of the patron to assist with the party when needed

Young’s Dairy Visit

• The birthday party experience may include several different activities.  Parents will receive passes for all the activities included in their package.  Birthday activity passes are only valid the day of the party.
• Birthday party coordinators are provided to make sure you have everything you need for a successful celebration.  Parents are responsible for discipline and maintaining order of the party.

Refunds

• NO refunds will be given for participants that do not come the day of the party.
• You will receive Birthday Activity Passes for all activities for which you have paid (even if a guest doesn’t show) but remember they are only valid the day of your party.

Rain and Inclement Weather

• In the event of bad weather birthday parties may be rescheduled, depending on availability, to a different date with a 2 hour notice.  This option is only available if it is snowing, raining or unseasonably cold.
• If you prefer not to reschedule, the party will be held in the Dairy Store dinning room.  You will be given rain checks for any outdoor activities for which you have paid.  Rain checks will be good for 30 days from the date of the party. 
• With a 2 hours notice you may change your party package to one with indoor activities.  If you select a more expensive package you will have to pay the difference.  Also, cupcakes and ice cream cakes will have decorations for the original party booked.
