•We will cook a special Small Town America outdoor picnic meal at our new picnic shelter complete with our delicious Pulled Pork BBQ sandwiches, BBQ Black Angus burgers, Adobo BBQ grilled chicken breasts, juicy hot dogs, sundried tomato artichoke pasta salad, BBQ baked beans, homemade cole slaw, homefried seasoned chips, iced tea, lemonade, water and (of course) homemade ice cream. The new picnic shelter is located behind the Dairy Store
• The Small Town American Picnic includes all-day entertainment at Udders & Putters featuring two miniature golf courses, batting cages, the driving range, our new Cowvin's Fast Slide and all day access to Moovers & Shakers and Cowvin’s Kiddie Corral
• Young's and the Yellow Springs Tale Spinners will provide entertainment with the first Liar's Storytelling Contest. Enjoy tall tales while enjoying great food and family fun!

• Adult picnic meals including all day entertainment is $14.95, plus tax. Picnic meals including all day entertainment for children age 5 to 11 is $9.95. Children under age 4, $4.95.
• Finish the evening by taking a short drive to the south side of Yellow Springs to enjoy the great fireworks display. Donations are accepted at the entrance to support this small town community event.
• All weekend, The Dairy Store and The Golden Jersey Inn will feature an Independence Day Sundae complete with one dip of American Celebration Ice Cream, chocolate syrup, whipped cream, sprinkles and an American Flag for $2.49. The two restaurants will also feature special BBQ sandwiches and meals all weekend.
Young's Farmstead CheesesThe equipment to make cheese has shipped and will be here on our farm around the first week of June. That's when we begin making cheese from our own cow's milk right here on the farm. We should have Young's Farmstead Cheese ready for sale in July or August of this year.
We're going to start with Cheddar, Colby and Jersey Jack cheese. We plan to make fresh cheese curds to sell as both a take home snack item and battered and deep fried as a side choice in both restaurants.
We'll add more cheese flavors and types as we learn and listen to our Guests. Stay tuned for more details as we start production in June!
