**New Route for 2008**
Of course, we still take off from Young’s Dairy,
but the route has changed a bit.
The two day riders will end up @
Ohio Northern University in Ada, OH.

Route Options
Can’t make it the whole 83 miles?
Only have time for a one day ride?
83 miles not enough challenge for you?
We have five different ride options to fit every
rider’s personality and abilities.

Option #1 - One Day Ride - 28 Miles
You will ride from Young’s to the first stop and back.
This is our shortest ride option.
Option #2 - One Day Ride - 56 Miles
You will ride from Young’s to the second stop and back.
Option #3 - Two Day Ride - Approx 50 Miles/Day
For this ride, you will ride to the lunch stop each day
and we take you the rest of the way!
Option #4 - Two Day Ride - 83 Miles/Day
This is the complete ride - from Young’s to
Ohio Northern on Saturday
and from Ohio Northern to Young’s on Sunday.
Option #5 - Two Day Ride - 83 Miles/Day with
100 mile option on Saturday

This is the same as Option #4 except for there is an
extra 25 mi ‘power loop’ built in to Saturday’s route.
This is for the serious riders only!

Can I REALLY Ride That Far?
In easy terms - yes, you can! Every rider that has participated in a Young’s Bicycle Ride has probably asked this same question. Can you ride 10-15 miles at a time?
If not - make this your initial training goal. Rest stops on the Bike Tour are 12-20 miles apart. The route is generally flat to rolling and fairly easy to ride. We also offer route support that is second to none.

You do not have to be a super-cyclist to complete this Bike Tour. However, a little training before hand sure does help. The route chosen by the YIC Bike Tour Committee is chosen to satisfy a wide range of cyclists with different skills and abilities. Cyclists of all different shapes, sizes, age, and abilities have entered and finished.

Be sure to check out the dates & times of the below Rally Rides. If you are unsure about being able to go the whole way, try these smaller rides out as a part of your training.

Rally rides are a great way to get ready
for the big ride, especially if you aren’t used to going on long distance rides.
Rally Rides are free and a way to meet
some of the other riders.
